Analysis of Factors Influencing Measurement Accuracy for High-Temperature Liquid Metal Flow Sensors in Nuclear Power

Permanent magnet metal flowmeters are implemented to monitor the flow of liquid coolant in a nuclear reactor, whose measurement accuracy plays significant role ensure safety and normal operation reactor. According theoretical analysis permanent flowmeter, several factors such as temperature, nonlinear degree, zero potential will affect measuring flow. However, for heavy-caliber influence magnetic Reynolds number provides obvious nonlinearity, which affects flowmeter. Consequently, we use finite element method calculate field flowmeter analyze cause nonlinearity. Additionally, error is significantly reduced by designing structure appropriate arrangement electrodes.
